Peace & Quiet

Kalispell MT

This home was a complete remodel project, in an established quiet neighborhood in Kalispell Montana. My clients were starting a new chapter and decided to leave their rural lakeside home and relocate to a comfortable environment in town. Upon purchasing the property, they loved the home’s location but knew that it needed a long list of updates. The project started in late fall as my clients were leaving to spend the winter at their second home in Arizona. We were able to complete the entire project in their absence.

My clients envisioned transforming the house into a comfortable, colorful reflection of their personalities. They had a long list of items that were extremely important to them. To accomplish this, the home received a complete remodel, beginning with new wiring, new lighting, and new climate systems. A beautiful double glass door entry was added to access the backyard patio and bring in more natural light to the dining and living area. Finally, warm natural furniture was shipped in to freshen up the space.

Additionally, the kitchen was reconfigured by relocating a portion of the existing cabinetry to open up the space. Then new appliances, gold subway tile backsplash, natural toned granite countertops, warm toned wood flooring, and functional and ambient lighting were updated and installed.

My list of improvements also included expanding the master bathroom to include a large soaking tub, a dedicated makeup area, a double shower, and a large double vanity, all encapsulated with color. With a small area in which to include all of these items, we were able to design the perfect spa style master bathroom.

Included on the list of changes was a bright master bedroom connected to the new spa bathroom. We updated this space by adding a spacious wardrobe closet, new lighting, my clients favorite color for the walls, and fresh bright linens. Her eccentric collection of furniture and wall art competed the bright look she wanted for her personal space.

This project was a massive success as my clients gave me full control to implement this project. The subcontractors were all exceptional to work with, and the homeowners arrived in late spring completely satisfied and excited. They have since told me that they “absolutely could not have done this without me and they could not be happier with the results!” This comment alone is why I love what I do.
